Meet Timi and Tara!

Hello there! Meet Timi and Tara two best friends who love to play, learn, and explore.
One sunny morning, they sat under a big tree at school. Tara looked at Timi and asked,
“Timi, how are you feeling today?”
Timi scratched his head.
“Hmm… I don’t really know. Maybe… fine?”
Their teacher, Miss Amina, overheard and smiled.
“Children,” she said, “today we’re going to learn something magical how to name our emotions!”
Feeling Happy!

Miss Amina asked, “What does your face do when you feel happy?”
Timi grinned from ear to ear.
“I smile so big my cheeks hurt!”
“When we feel happy,” said Miss Amina, “our hearts feel light and our bodies feel full of sunshine!”
Tara added,
“I feel happy when I draw rainbows!”
Feeling Sad

Sometimes, we feel sad. That’s okay too.
Miss Amina told them,
“Being sad helps us understand what we care about.”
Tara whispered,
“I feel sad when my best friend goes home early.”
Miss Amina nodded kindly.
“When you feel sad, it’s good to talk about it or hug someone you love.”
Feeling Angry

Timi frowned.
“I get angry when someone breaks my toy!”
Miss Amina said,
“That’s an important feeling! When you’re angry, your body feels tight and hot. Take deep breaths and count to ten.”
Together they practiced:
“One… Two… Three…”
Soon, Timi smiled again.
“I feel calm now!”
Feeling Scared

Tara whispered,
“I feel scared when it’s dark.”
Miss Amina held her hand and said,
“Everyone feels scared sometimes. You can tell someone you trust or hold something that makes you feel safe.”
Timi smiled and said,
“I have a teddy that helps me feel brave!”
