Facilitator: Dr. Stephanie Okolo

Dr. Okolo gave a brief insight on retroactive interference as a psychological process by which new information interferes with what was previously learned. That is, an interference to recall previous information. The major cause of this interference is found in our workplace where a new approach of work is set in then they tend to forget the previous approach they have been used to.
In the course of the session, we were walked through a few practices and methods that could aid in retaining the previous approach to stop any form of interference.
* Mental rest
* Strategic note taking
* Repetition
* Pressure free working environment
